NEW LIBRARY ALERT: New West Studios.
Close to 5000 tracks comprise the “New West Studios Scoring Collection” which has been in high demand as an alternative to typical production music libraries. Composers Cody Westheimer and Julia Newmann own and operate New West Studios, Inc – a custom music scoring facility in West Los Angeles. While Julia has garnered three ASCAP awards during her 8 year (current) stint on the hit Fox show, “BONES,” Cody has focused primarily on independent cinema, documentary television series and nature films – having scored over 45 features. Cody has been a sought out source for thematic sports/news themes – including the Tour de France, Major League Soccer, Meet the Press and the Olympics. You’ll find New West themes to be superbly composed with lots of :60 and :30 edits. Something different – check them out here.
